First Ever Open Sale of OnePlus 2

The Indian unit of Chinese manufacturer OnePlus, along with e-retail partner Amazon India, has announced the first ever open sale of its two phones. The sale will take place on October, 12 between 12 PM to 1 PM exclusively on Amazon. According to company, the sale would be for limited quantity and is expected to stock out soon owing to the high demand of the popular devices.

In terms of specifications, OnePlus 2 features a 5.5-inches HD display with 1080×1920p resolution and is driven by powerful Snapdragon 810 coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU. The device will pack 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and supports USB Type-C connectivity. OnePlus 2 comes with a finger print scanner which can store up to 5 prints.

The device will be powered by a 3300mAh removable Li-Polymer battery which goes remarkably well with a handset having Snapdragon 810 SoC and full HD display.

OnePlus 2 also features a 13 MP rear camera with a 1.3 micron sensor, dual LED flash, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording along with 5 MP front selfie cam.

OnePlus 2 runs Android 5.1 OS with Oxygen OS 2.0 on it. The design philosophy of the device will make Android users feel at home with the arrangement of app icons, settings menu and notification settings.

The Chinese handset company is trying different promotional strategies to entice their customers. The company has come up with a device that seems a perfect mix of class and specs.

OnePlus 2 comes in two variants of 16 GB and 64 GB priced at Indian Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 24,999 respectively. However the current users of OnePlus don’t have much to look forward to opt for an up-gradation. The device is a good option for those looking for a mid-range phone which delivers all the functionalities of a pricey counterpart.
