Sony’s new smartphone is expected to be launched later this week but a few of its features have been leaked in a recently released video. The two minute video claims to unveil the upcoming Xperia Z5 family featuring Z5, Z5 compact and Z5 premium as its members.
The video is an interview based conversation between a French website Clubic journalist and a media representative of a Japanese company. The conversation is in French and discussed details are not exhaustive in particular. The shoot comprises of the specs of the three Sony Xperia Z5 family devices expected to be launched soon by the company, including the Z5 compact, Z5 and Z5 premium.
The rumored specs includes a 5.2 inches screen with full HD 1080×1920 resolution for Xperia Z5. On the other hand, 4.6 inches display with a 720×1280 resolution for the Xperia Z5 Compact has been revealed along with a 5.5 inches screen of 4K resolution for Xperia Z5 premium. All the three sets will have fingerprint sensors on the side. The devices will also feature an 8 MP front-facing camera and a 23 MP rear camera with very fast auto focus system and the capability to shoot 4K video and. The storage capacity comprises of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The sets have a Snapdragon 810, Octa – core 2.0 GHz CPU and Adreno 430 GPU. Sony’s water proofing and Omnium design has also been mentioned.
The most interesting element in a leaked video is perhaps the use of 4K screen with Z5 premium which when calculated technically results in astonishing high pixel per figure.
Update: The video has been removed. Both the Z5 and Z5 compact went official at IFA yesterday confirming many of the above rumours.
